Red Sox win in comeback fashion

Red Sox - 5
Orioles - 4
Final

W:
Lopez (2-1)
L: Parrish (2-2) S: Papelbon (24)

Newly aquired Celtic Kevin Garnett threw out the first pitch and it was a strike right down the middle. That's exactly what this victory was, it was perfect. The Red Sox came back and won again. The score was 3-1 Baltimore in the bottom of the 7th and the Sox scrapped together 4 runs to take a 5-3 lead heading into the 8th. Youkilis had a clutch hit knocking in 2 runs. The Red Sox tied the series with a victory and will play their final game at Fenway for quite some time tommorow afternoon.

Box Score

The Yankees won 8-1 against the White Sox and the AL East lead remains at 7 games. ARod did not hit HR #500.

By the way, newly aquired relief pitcher Eric Gagne met with the Boston media for the first time today. You can see it here.
