Every year, there is a lot of excitement about TC. I think everybody is interested in knowing who is going to be cut and who is going to make the team. With all of the offseason additions, it's safe to say that besides a select few, a lot of starting jobs and jobs in general are going to be wide open. Brady is obviously going to pick up right where he left off, starting at quarterback. Maroney should be the starting HB. There shouldn't be too many changes with the offensive line or tight ends. And I'm especially intrigued with the WR battles. Moss, Stallworth and Brown will definitely make the team, no doubt about it. Possibly Caldwell too because of his heart and performance last season. I think the entire wide receiver core besides Brown will be completely revamped though. Moving on to the defensive side of the ball, Chad Brown was an interesting aquisition. He was on the team in 2005 and has been to the pro bowl. He should make the roster as well, but as a backup LB obviously with Thomas, Colvin, Bruschi and Vrabel most likely being the starters. The no-names will be cut too. We all can agree that they just work these guys out to put bodies up against the guys already on the team. Samuel probably won't show up. No, he definitely won't show up. Hopefully they try to make Brandon Meriweather a corner, in case Samuel is traded or holds out. It's always great to have a versatile player like that. I really have no complaints about the team on either side of the ball except some of the aging players and injury problems. Hopefully things go well this year.
